CM Bhupendra Patel completes four years in office

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel completed four years in office on Saturday, September 13. According to an official statement, Patel’s leadership over the past four years has focused on ensuring that the benefits of development reach every citizen of Gujarat.
Under his tenure, the state has made significant progress in emerging sectors such as renewable energy, semiconductors, and artificial intelligence, while also achieving consistent milestones across various fields of development.
The government highlighted Patel’s decisive and strong administration, citing key actions such as the removal of illegal encroachments at Chandola Lake in Ahmedabad, which reopened nearly 4 lakh square metres of the lake area for public use. Similar drives at Dwarka and Somnath freed approximately 1.54 lakh square metres and 4.79 lakh square metres of land, respectively.
Maintaining a strict zero-tolerance policy against corruption, the Chief Minister’s office has taken firm action against around 50 government officials found involved in malpractice.
In addition to anti-corruption measures, Patel’s tenure has seen reforms in administrative governance and the introduction of several policies aimed at strengthening Gujarat’s development trajectory.
